A small thing

Undertaking the Sudsy Challenge is something that is making me think even deeper about the plight of the homeless. My mind is going forward to when I start my 3 days without changing clothes and my choice of meals. My dear wife makes a totally delicious spaghetti bolognese and it's one of our whole family's favourite meals including mine. I'm thinking that won't be on the menu for me as I can never seem to come out the other end without wearing some of it and wearing it on my clothes for 3 days would end a bit on the nose.
Then it occurs to me just how good I've got it. Having a choice of home cooked meals, every night in a safe and pleasant environment while those who are homeless will, at times, struggle to fill their tummies and those of their family.
I sincerely hope this small thing I'm doing will raise just a little more awareness of the plight of the homeless and will assist in raising funds for this wonderful organisation.

You know I'm so excited about doing the Sudsy Challenge and thinking of not changing clothes for 3 days. This isn't such a huge deed when you consider all those people who do this as part of their everyday life.

I'm not changing my clothes for three days to help change the lives of people experiencing homelessness.

This September, I'll be taking on The Sudsy Challenge to raise funds and awareness for Orange Sky - an organisation providing access to free laundry, warm showers and genuine conversation.
